Saffron, white and green, with the blue Ashoka wheel with 24 spokes in the middle. Saffron stands for courage, white for peace and truth, and green for growth and fertility.

The flag was adopted on 22 July 1947.

Yes. The fabric is 115 g/m² polyester, UV-resistant and wind-resistant up to about 55 km/h. Do take it in during a storm.
