Description
Design your own custom flag with full-colour single-sided printing. Pick a design from our flag library or upload your own artwork — we print it professionally on 110 g/m² durable polyester flag fabric.
The back does not stay white. On a single-sided flag the ink passes through the fabric, so your design is clearly visible on the reverse too — just mirrored. Is there text on it that has to read correctly from both sides? Then choose the double-sided flag.

How it works
- Step 1 – Choose your size: ten sizes, from 60 × 40 cm up to 450 × 300 cm.
- Step 2 – Make or choose your design: design your own flag in the design tool using text, shapes, symbols and templates, pick one from our library, or upload your own file.
- Step 3 – Personalise: drag and scale your design in the live preview.
- Step 4 – Order: we produce and deliver to your door in 5–7 working days.
Which size suits me?
Apart from 100 × 70 and 150 × 90 cm, all sizes share the same 3:2 proportion, so your design stays exactly the same if you pick a size up or down. The small sizes (60 × 40 up to 120 × 80 cm) fit an ordinary facade pole and are meant for a house, shopfront or balcony; 100 × 70 cm is the usual size for a 1.5-metre facade pole. 150 × 90 cm is the international 3 × 5 ft size, widely used in Germany and the United States. From 150 × 100 cm you are at the standard facade flag, the most popular flag size for a building façade. 180 × 120 cm is one size up, for a 5-metre pole or a wide façade. The large sizes (225 × 150 cm and up) are for business premises, sports halls and anything that has to stand out from the street; 225 × 150 cm is the common size for a 6-metre flagpole.

What resolution do I need?
Vector files (PDF, EPS, SVG, AI) are always sharp, whatever the size. If you work with a photo or a logo as an image, aim for around 40 ppi at actual size — about 16 pixels per centimetre of width. For a flag 150 cm wide that comes to roughly 2,400 px, for 450 cm roughly 7,100 px. More than enough for a flag, which you look at from several metres away.
You don't have to work this out yourself: the configurator shows live how sharp your file will be at the chosen size, and warns you as soon as the resolution is too low.

Your order is made especially for you, based on your design. That is why it cannot be returned or cancelled once ordered. Please check your design carefully before you order.
Damaged, a print error or the wrong item? Report it within 48 hours of delivery to info@buildyourflag.com, with photos and your order number. After review we will reprint, replace or refund.

You can order a single flag. There is no minimum order.
We accept PDF, EPS, SVG, AI, PNG, JPG and WEBP. Vector files are always sharp; for photos and logos aim for around 40 ppi at actual size — the configurator checks this live. Text must be converted to outlines.
Production takes 3–4 business days from your order — there is no approval step to wait for. Allow 5–7 business days in total until delivery.
Because every flag is made to your specifications, returns are not possible unless there is a production defect. Contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos.
