Apart from 150 × 90 cm, all sizes have a 3:2 ratio. Flame-retardant fabric (B1) is often required in and on public buildings, schools, cafés and restaurants.

Meaning of the Irish flag

Green, white and orange in vertical stripes. Green stands for the Catholic, Gaelic tradition and orange for the Protestants, after the colour of William III of Orange. White stands for peace between them.

The flag was first raised in 1848 and has been in the Irish constitution since 1937.

Can you see the flag from both sides?
