Apart from 150 × 90 cm, all sizes have a 3:2 ratio. Flame-retardant fabric (B1) is often required in and on public buildings, schools, cafés and restaurants.

Blue, white and red in vertical stripes: the Tricolore. According to the common explanation, blue and red come from the city of Paris and white from the king.

The flag was born during the French Revolution and has been in use since 1794, apart from a few interruptions.

For a facade pole or balcony, choose 60 × 40 to 120 × 80 cm. 150 × 100 cm is the standard facade flag. For a 6-metre flagpole, 225 × 150 cm is the usual size.

Can you see the flag from both sides?

Can the flag handle wind and weather?

Yes. The fabric is 115 g/m² polyester, UV-resistant and wind-resistant up to about 55 km/h. Do take it in during a storm.
